Zaman

As part of Design Advocates, Phase I of a multi-phase project to develop Zaman International’s Hope for Humanity Center was completed. Zaman is a humanitarian non-profit organization that offers a variety of programs from social services and food pantries to literacy and vocational training, all in an effort to break the cycle of poverty and advance the lives of marginalized women and their children.

Formerly a warehouse, The Hope for Humanity Center is intended to one day house all of Zaman’s initiatives in a single place. Design Advocates is collaborating with Zaman to redesign the various spaces in the center, beginning with their social services offices. Our goal is to ensure the surroundings reflect their message of hope and empowerment through thoughtful use of the Zaman logo and color palette, nature-inspired graphics, new comforting furnishings, and the incorporation of ambient lighting for a more intimate experience to allow their clients to feel safe and welcome.
